Janet Schreck Senior Associate Vice Provost for Academic Affairs

Janet Simon Schreck, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, FNAP is the Senior Associate Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, and is one of the executive sponsors on the Academic Advising Technology / Stellic Implementation Project. Schreck joined Johns Hopkins University in December 2015 as its inaugural Assistant Vice Provost for Education.  In this role, Schreck collaborates with the Vice Provost of Graduate and Professional Education and a broad cross-section of the campus community to identify cross-cutting goals and initiatives that improve undergraduate and graduate education. In addition, she directs academic compliance, institutional and learning assessment, and accreditation. Schreck serves as the Accreditation Liaison Officer to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and the Institutional Academic Grievance Officer. She is a faculty member in the School of Education where she teaches and advises doctoral students in the Ed.D. program.
